You are invited to join this welcoming community for a weekly “Insight Meditation” practice. We are seated in chairs for a few minutes of movement, then a guided meditation with plenty of space for silence, and time for discussion and sharing, if you choose.
Insight Meditation (also called “Vipassana”) is an ancient mindfulness practice of self-observation in order to see, understand, and have compassion for our habitual ways of living in the world. “Vipassana” means “seeing things as they really are”. Through this practice, we can make more skillful choices about how we live each day, each moment at a time, and how we interact with ourselves and others. Western science has verified many health benefits of meditation practice, as well.
